NAME

get_validate_CUI - Get the query CUI from calling program and validate the CUI.

SYNOPSIS

Basic Usage

  use WebService::UMLS::get_validate_CUI;  
  
  print "\nEnter query CUI:";
  my $cui        = <>;  
  my $valid      = new ValidateCUI;
  my $isvalid_CUI = $valid->validateCUI($cui);

DESCRIPTION

This module has package ValidateCUI which has two subroutines 'new' and 'validateCUI'. This module takes the query CUI from calling program and validates it. It returns values depending on whether the query is valid or invalid CUI.

Methods

The subroutines are as follows:

new

This sub creates a new object of ValidateCUI.

validateCUI

This sub takes the query CUI from calling program and validates it. It returns '2' if CUI is valid CUI. In the case of invalid CUI, it returns '10'.
