You are probably looking for Crypt::Checksum::CRC32 or Crypt::Checksum::Adler32.
To install CryptX, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.
cpanm
cpanm CryptX
CPAN shell
perl -MCPAN -e shell install CryptX
