scaling down images to 1500px, bigger images may not work well with Barcode::ZBar::Image
normalize and sharpen contrast before decoding

decode barcodes out of an email

To install Email::Barcode::Decode, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Email::Barcode::Decode

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Email::Barcode::Decode
