As with QNX, Haiku has the API of interval timers but not the implementation (bleadperl change #34630), hence skip the tests, via David Mitchell.

High resolution alarm, sleep, gettimeofday, interval timers

To install Time::HiRes, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Time::HiRes

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Time::HiRes
