PL/SQL ITEMS

The PL/SQL plugin allows stored procedures to be called

  • name. The name of this item.

  • call. The name of the stored procedure.

  • sub. The subroutine being called.

  • parameters. Name/Value pairs.

  • on_error. Override the setting for the job.

Example

<item>
    name     = record_file
    call     = record_file
    type     = plsql
    on_error = die
    <parameters>
            name = filename
            value = %basename(filename)%
    </parameters>
    <parameters>
            name = message
            value = %message%
    </parameters>
    <parameters>
            name = archive_dir
            value = %archive_dir%
    </parameters>
</item>

1. Only iterative jobs can use iterative placeholders like %filename%.

2. If the item parameter value is %message%, the plugin requires that the PL/SQL parameter is an IN/OUT type. The message will be logged in the runtime audit history. This provides a mechanism to pass messages back to ETLp from the PL/SQL code.
