Text::Head - Output the first part of text

VERSION

This document describes version 0.001 of Text::Head (from Perl distribution Text-Head), released on 2016-04-01.

FUNCTIONS

head_text(%args) -> any

Output the first part of text.

Examples:

  • Example #1:

    head_text(lines => 2, text => "line 1\nline 2\nline 3\nline 4\n"); # -> "line 1\nline 2\n"

This function is not exported by default, but exportable.

Arguments ('*' denotes required arguments):

  • hint => bool

  • lines => int (default: 10)

  • text* => str

Return value: (any)
