NAME

Paws::S3::ObjectLockRule

USAGE

This class represents one of two things:

Arguments in a call to a service

Use the attributes of this class as arguments to methods. You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the calls that expect this type of object.

As an example, if Att1 is expected to be a Paws::S3::ObjectLockRule object:

$service_obj->Method(Att1 => { DefaultRetention => $value, ..., DefaultRetention => $value  });

Results returned from an API call

Use accessors for each attribute. If Att1 is expected to be an Paws::S3::ObjectLockRule object:

$result = $service_obj->Method(...);
$result->Att1->DefaultRetention

DESCRIPTION

The container element for an Object Lock rule.

ATTRIBUTES

DefaultRetention => Paws::S3::DefaultRetention

The default Object Lock retention mode and period that you want to apply to new objects placed in the specified bucket. Bucket settings require both a mode and a period. The period can be either Days or Years but you must select one. You cannot specify Days and Years at the same time.

SEE ALSO
