NAME

Paws::Organizations::UpdatePolicy - Arguments for method UpdatePolicy on Paws::Organizations

DESCRIPTION

This class represents the parameters used for calling the method UpdatePolicy on the AWS Organizations service. Use the attributes of this class as arguments to method UpdatePolicy.

You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the call to UpdatePolicy.

SYNOPSIS

   my $organizations = Paws->service('Organizations');
# To update the details of a policy
# The following example shows how to rename a policy and give it a new
# description and new content. The output confirms the new name and description
# text:/n/n
   my $UpdatePolicyResponse = $organizations->UpdatePolicy(
     'Description' => 'This description replaces the original.',
     'Name'        => 'Renamed-Policy',
     'PolicyId'    => 'p-examplepolicyid111'
   );

   # Results:
   my $Policy = $UpdatePolicyResponse->Policy;

 # Returns a L<Paws::Organizations::UpdatePolicyResponse> object.
 # To update the content of a policy
 # The following example shows how to replace the JSON text of the SCP from the
 # preceding example with a new JSON policy text string that allows S3 actions
 # instead of EC2 actions:/n/n
   my $UpdatePolicyResponse = $organizations->UpdatePolicy(
     'Content' =>
'{ \"Version\": \"2012-10-17\", \"Statement\": {\"Effect\": \"Allow\", \"Action\": \"s3:*\", \"Resource\": \"*\" } }',
     'PolicyId' => 'p-examplepolicyid111'
   );

   # Results:
   my $Policy = $UpdatePolicyResponse->Policy;

   # Returns a L<Paws::Organizations::UpdatePolicyResponse> object.

Values for attributes that are native types (Int, String, Float, etc) can passed as-is (scalar values). Values for complex Types (objects) can be passed as a HashRef. The keys and values of the hashref will be used to instance the underlying object. For the AWS API documentation, see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/goto/WebAPI/organizations/UpdatePolicy
