NAME
Paws::IoT::DynamoDBAction
USAGE
This class represents one of two things:
Arguments in a call to a service
Use the attributes of this class as arguments to methods. You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the calls that expect this type of object.
As an example, if Att1 is expected to be a Paws::IoT::DynamoDBAction object:
$service_obj->Method(Att1 => { HashKeyField => $value, ..., TableName => $value });
Results returned from an API call
Use accessors for each attribute. If Att1 is expected to be an Paws::IoT::DynamoDBAction object:
$result = $service_obj->Method(...);
$result->Att1->HashKeyField
DESCRIPTION
Describes an action to write to a DynamoDB table.
The tableName
, hashKeyField
, and rangeKeyField
values must match the values used when you created the table.
The hashKeyValue
and rangeKeyvalue
fields use a substitution template syntax. These templates provide data at runtime. The syntax is as follows: ${sql-expression}.
You can specify any valid expression in a WHERE or SELECT clause, including JSON properties, comparisons, calculations, and functions. For example, the following field uses the third level of the topic:
"hashKeyValue": "${topic(3)}"
The following field uses the timestamp:
"rangeKeyValue": "${timestamp()}"
ATTRIBUTES
REQUIRED HashKeyField => Str
The hash key name.
HashKeyType => Str
The hash key type. Valid values are "STRING" or "NUMBER"
REQUIRED HashKeyValue => Str
The hash key value.
Operation => Str
The type of operation to be performed. This follows the substitution template, so it can be ${operation}
, but the substitution must result in one of the following: INSERT
, UPDATE
, or DELETE
.
PayloadField => Str
The action payload. This name can be customized.
RangeKeyField => Str
The range key name.
RangeKeyType => Str
The range key type. Valid values are "STRING" or "NUMBER"
RangeKeyValue => Str
The range key value.
REQUIRED RoleArn => Str
The ARN of the IAM role that grants access to the DynamoDB table.
REQUIRED TableName => Str
The name of the DynamoDB table.
