NAME

Paws::Glue::UpdateTable - Arguments for method UpdateTable on Paws::Glue

DESCRIPTION

This class represents the parameters used for calling the method UpdateTable on the AWS Glue service. Use the attributes of this class as arguments to method UpdateTable.

You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the call to UpdateTable.

Values for attributes that are native types (Int, String, Float, etc) can passed as-is (scalar values). Values for complex Types (objects) can be passed as a HashRef. The keys and values of the hashref will be used to instance the underlying object. For the AWS API documentation, see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/goto/WebAPI/glue/UpdateTable

ATTRIBUTES

CatalogId => Str

The ID of the Data Catalog where the table resides. If none is provided, the Amazon Web Services account ID is used by default.

REQUIRED DatabaseName => Str

The name of the catalog database in which the table resides. For Hive compatibility, this name is entirely lowercase.

SkipArchive => Bool

By default, UpdateTable always creates an archived version of the table before updating it. However, if skipArchive is set to true, UpdateTable does not create the archived version.

REQUIRED TableInput => Paws::Glue::TableInput

An updated TableInput object to define the metadata table in the catalog.
