NAME
Paws::AutoScaling::ScalingPolicy
USAGE
This class represents one of two things:
Arguments in a call to a service
Use the attributes of this class as arguments to methods. You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the calls that expect this type of object.
As an example, if Att1 is expected to be a Paws::AutoScaling::ScalingPolicy object:
$service_obj->Method(Att1 => { AdjustmentType => $value, ..., TargetTrackingConfiguration => $value });
Results returned from an API call
Use accessors for each attribute. If Att1 is expected to be an Paws::AutoScaling::ScalingPolicy object:
$result = $service_obj->Method(...);
$result->Att1->AdjustmentType
DESCRIPTION
Describes a scaling policy.
ATTRIBUTES
AdjustmentType => Str
Specifies how the scaling adjustment is interpreted (for example, an absolute number or a percentage). The valid values are ChangeInCapacity
, ExactCapacity
, and PercentChangeInCapacity
.
Alarms => ArrayRef[Paws::AutoScaling::Alarm]
The CloudWatch alarms related to the policy.
AutoScalingGroupName => Str
The name of the Auto Scaling group.
Cooldown => Int
The duration of the policy's cooldown period, in seconds.
Enabled => Bool
Indicates whether the policy is enabled (true
) or disabled (false
).
EstimatedInstanceWarmup => Int
The estimated time, in seconds, until a newly launched instance can contribute to the CloudWatch metrics.
MetricAggregationType => Str
The aggregation type for the CloudWatch metrics. The valid values are Minimum
, Maximum
, and Average
.
MinAdjustmentMagnitude => Int
The minimum value to scale by when the adjustment type is PercentChangeInCapacity
.
MinAdjustmentStep => Int
Available for backward compatibility. Use MinAdjustmentMagnitude
instead.
PolicyARN => Str
The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the policy.
PolicyName => Str
The name of the scaling policy.
PolicyType => Str
One of the following policy types:
TargetTrackingScaling
StepScaling
SimpleScaling
(default)PredictiveScaling
For more information, see Target tracking scaling policies (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/autoscaling/ec2/userguide/as-scaling-target-tracking.html) and Step and simple scaling policies (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/autoscaling/ec2/userguide/as-scaling-simple-step.html) in the Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling User Guide.
PredictiveScalingConfiguration => Paws::AutoScaling::PredictiveScalingConfiguration
A predictive scaling policy.
ScalingAdjustment => Int
The amount by which to scale, based on the specified adjustment type. A positive value adds to the current capacity while a negative number removes from the current capacity.
StepAdjustments => ArrayRef[Paws::AutoScaling::StepAdjustment]
A set of adjustments that enable you to scale based on the size of the alarm breach.
TargetTrackingConfiguration => Paws::AutoScaling::TargetTrackingConfiguration
A target tracking scaling policy.
