NAME
MyCPAN::App::DPAN::Queue - Find distributions to index, possibly skipping some
SYNOPSIS
Use this from your dpan
configuration file by specifying it as the queue class:
queue_class MyCPAN::App::DPAN::SkipQueue
skip_perl 1
# not yet implemented
skip_name Foo::Bar Bar::Baz
skip_regex Foo::.*
DESCRIPTION
This class returns a list of Perl distributions for the BackPAN indexer to process.
Methods
- get_queue
-
This extends the
get_queue
method fromMyCPAN::Indexer::Queue
to filter the list of files it returns.get_queue
sets the keyqueue
in$Notes
hash reference. It finds all of the tarballs or zip archives in under the directories named indpan_dir
andmerge_dirs
in the configuration.It specifically skips files that end in
.txt.gz
or.data.gz
since PAUSE creates those meta files near the actual module installations.If the
organize_dists
configuration value is true, it also copies any distributions it finds into a PAUSE-like structure using the value of thepause_id
configuration to create the path.If
skip_perl
is true, it filters out any distributions matching\bperl-
.
