NAME

Data::TableData::Object::hash - Manipulate hash via table object

VERSION

This document describes version 0.116 of Data::TableData::Object::hash (from Perl distribution Data-TableData-Object), released on 2022-05-19.

SYNOPSIS

To create:

use Data::TableData::Object qw(table);

my $td = table({foo=>10, bar=>20, baz=>30});

or:

use Data::TableData::Object::hash;

my $td = Data::TableData::Object::hash->new({foo=>10, bar=>20, baz=>30});

DESCRIPTION

This class lets you manipulate a hash as a table object. The table will have two columns named key (containing hash keys) and value (containing hash values).

Implementation notes: rows*() methods sort the hash keys so you get the same order of rows every time. The row() method is currently not efficient because it calls rows() first to get a sorted list of rows, then pick from that.
