App::VTide::Command::Edit - Run an edit command (like Run but without a terminal spec)

VERSION

This documentation refers to App::VTide::Command::Edit version 1.0.6

SYNOPSIS

  vtide edit (glob ...)
  vtide edit [--help|--man]

OPTIONS:
 -a --add-to-session
                  Save this edit to the sessions file
 -r --recurse     Recurse through directories to find files
    --no-recurese Don't recurse throught directories
 -s --save[=]name Save edit options
 -T --test        Test the running of the terminal (shows the commands
                  that would be executed)
 -v --verbose     Show more verbose output.
    --help        Show this help
    --man         Show full documentation

DESCRIPTION

The edit command allows an ad hoc access to starting the editor with lists of files, file groups or globs. The file groups are those defined in the local .vtide.yml config (as defined in "editor" in App::VTide::Configuration).

SUBROUTINES/METHODS

run ()

Run an editor command with passed in file globs

auto_complete ()

Auto completes editor file groups

details_sub ()

Returns the commands details.

HOOKS

edit_editing ($cmd)

Called just before execution, the command that will be executed is passed and can be modified.
