NAME

dir-dump - the File::Dir::Dumper command line application.

VERSION

version 0.6.6

SYNOPSIS

dir-dump [-o output-file.txt] /path/to/directory/to/dump

(dir-dump --man displays the man page)

DESCRIPTION

Run this program with the path to the directory to dump to produce a dump on the standard output.

Run it with -o output-file.txt to write to output-file.txt.

One can also specify multiple --digest [digest] arguments in order to specify which digests to calculate for each plain file. See the Digest module for information.

Digests' Cache

In order to speed up the digests' calculation in subsequent runs, one can specify --digest-cache FS and --digest-cache-param path="$HOME/path/to/dedicated/cache/dir" .
