DESCRIPTION

Calculates the macroscopic longitudinal dielectric function for a given fixed Photonic::...::AllH structure as a function of the dielectric functions of the components.

METHODS

  • new(nr=>$nr, nh=>$nh, smallE=>$smallE)

    Initializes the structure.

    $nr is a Photonic::...::AllH structure (required).

    $nh is the maximum number of Haydock coefficients to use (required).

    $smallE is the criteria of convergence for the continued fraction (defaults to 1e-7)

  • evaluate($epsA, $epsB)

    Returns the macroscopic dielectric function for a given value of the dielectric functions of the host $epsA and the particle $epsB.

ACCESORS (read only)

  • nr

    The ...::AllH structure

  • epsA epsB

    The dielectric functions of component A and component B used in the last calculation.

  • u

    The spectral variable used in the last calculation

  • epsL

    The longitudinal macroscopic function obtained in the last calculation.

  • nh

    The maximum number of Haydock coefficients to use.

  • nhActual

    The actual number of Haydock coefficients used in the last calculation

  • converged

    Flags that the last calculation converged before using up all coefficients

  • smallE

    Criteria of convergence for continued fraction. 0 means don't check.
