NAME
Paws::CodeBuild::ExportedEnvironmentVariable
USAGE
This class represents one of two things:
Arguments in a call to a service
Use the attributes of this class as arguments to methods. You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the calls that expect this type of object.
As an example, if Att1 is expected to be a Paws::CodeBuild::ExportedEnvironmentVariable object:
$service_obj->Method(Att1 => { Name => $value, ..., Value => $value });
Results returned from an API call
Use accessors for each attribute. If Att1 is expected to be an Paws::CodeBuild::ExportedEnvironmentVariable object:
$result = $service_obj->Method(...);
$result->Att1->Name
DESCRIPTION
Contains information about an exported environment variable.
Exported environment variables are used in conjunction with CodePipeline to export environment variables from the current build stage to subsequent stages in the pipeline. For more information, see Working with variables (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/codepipeline/latest/userguide/actions-variables.html) in the CodePipeline User Guide.
During a build, the value of a variable is available starting with the install
phase. It can be updated between the start of the install
phase and the end of the post_build
phase. After the post_build
phase ends, the value of exported variables cannot change.
ATTRIBUTES
Name => Str
The name of the exported environment variable.
Value => Str
The value assigned to the exported environment variable.
