WaitReSS::Item - A RSS item

DESCRIPTION

This class represents a simple RSS item.

ATTRIBUTES

title

The item title. Required.

The url (a string) to which the RSS item is pointing to. Required.

description

The item description, usually the whole article or a summary.

pub_date

The item publication date (stored as an epoch integer).

METHODS

id

my $id = $item->id;

Return a unique identifier for the item. Internally, it's a MD5 sum of the url pointed by the item.

as_string

my $str = $item->as_string;

Return a string representation of the item.

timestamp

my $str = $item->timestamp;

Return a string representation (yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss format) of the pub_date attribute.
